UFC 293 is less than a week away, and middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is all set to defend his title against challenger Sean Strickland in Sydney.

It will be Adesanya's first defense of his second title reign. Adesanya defeated Alex Pereira in April to take back the title that he lost to him in November.
However, initially, Dricus Du Plessis was considered the challenger against Israel. Unfortunately, he is recovering from an injury. This incident has provided Strickland with a golden opportunity to dethrone the champion.
